When writing to a DRAM an important timing parameter that cannot be violated is tDQSS. tDQSS is the position of the DataStrobe (DQS) relative to Clock (CK). tDQSS has to be within a tDQSS(MIN) and tDQSS(MAX) as defined in the spec.
